With more than four years of experience in both social work and mental health, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help adolescents, teens, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, panic attacks, trauma, and life’s other challenges. I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where your identity, boundaries, and goals are always respected — and where you feel safe to explore your experiences and move toward what matters most to you.

I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and am in the final stage of earning my Clinical Social Work License, completing over 3,000 hours of supervised clinical practice. As a Black female therapist, I understand the importance of culturally responsive care and strive to create an inclusive environment where every client feels seen, respected, and supported.

Work History

My professional experience spans several settings within the mental health field. I’ve worked in schools supporting children as they set meaningful goals and build motivation to reach them. I also spent time assisting individuals recovering from brain injuries, helping them develop everyday skills and prepare for returning to work in a structured, supportive environment. Additionally, I’ve worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, primarily serving children and adolescents, where I led group sessions and provided case management services. Over the past two years, I’ve gained hands-on experience providing intensive in-home counseling, outpatient therapy, and completing clinical assessments.

Personal

Outside of my clinical work, I love spending time outdoors, relaxing with a good book or movie, and expressing creativity through writing. I’m always eager to learn new things — right now, I’m practicing my French and exploring different ways to stay connected to other cultures. I also enjoy anime, collecting tattoos, spending time with my pets, and anything that makes me laugh.
